Evolve Motors is pleased to present this badass 1963 Chevy C10
This C10 series of pickup trucks is one of the most iconic lines of trucks ever produced, by any manufacturer. Chevy built these rugged trucks from the early 60's up until the early 2000's where the C-badge adorned trucks of all shapes and sizes. As the classic truck market tends to be on it's biggest upswing in the past 2 decades, we're starting to see more and more of these cool old trucks pop up. Every once in awhile you see one that just catches your eye. A truck that makes you look twice. We couldn't help but snag up this immaculate 63 when the owner offered it up to us. One walk around this truck and you can see that the previous owner definitely spent some time (and money) getting it into the condition you see today. Let's take a walk around and get to know your new C10 a little better, shall we
The Exterior
First impressions are everything, right? Whether it's meeting her parents for the first time, or picking out your next pickup, the first impression is the most important. This truck not only leaves a great first impression, but also a great lasting impression that says this C10 is undeniably cool. This truck's complete, frame-off restoration was just completed a few short weeks ago. The exterior of the truck shines like new. The bright red paint was done well, and will surely grab attention everywhere. The body is extremely straight and true, from the fenders to the box sides. This should go without saying, but yes, the truck is 100% rust-free, from rocker panel to rooftop. We were told that the truck originally came from south of the St. Louis area, and was rust-free when the restoration started. The rear bumper has been “frenched”, or blended into the body lines of the truck, giving the rear end a very clean, yet tough look. The frame was sand blasted and re-coated in black. All of the original chrome and original badging is in excellent condition. He was able to re-use the original grille, which shows just the perfect patina. Newer headlights, tail lights, and markers were installed all around. The leather tonneau cover is in great condition and fits perfectly over the short box of this “fleetside” pickup. To complete the almost-perfectly tasteful “resto-mod” look, he fitted it with a sweet set of chrome side pipes, and of course the 15” chrome “baby moons” wrapped in brand new Cooper tires. This truck is so simple, yet so elegant, and so “tough”, to me it's the perfect tri-fecta if you're looking for a fun truck to cruise to the shows in, or if you need to haul a couple sheets of plywood home from town
The Interior
One look through the window, and you'll see that the restoration didn't stop at the door jambs. This truck's interior is 99% brand new. From the floor carpet, to the door panels, even the bench seat was wrapped in a new black leather, with red piping. Again, not too over the top, but definitely not stock. Just the right tasteful touches to make this one the envy of your neighborhood. The door panels were done in a bla
