This is a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Automatic Coupe. It is red over white interior and it shows 56,496 miles. AS FAR AS WE CAN SEE THIS IS A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR. THE BLOCK MATCHES THE BODY. This car is 1 of only 2,286 SS convertibles produced in 1968

We have done our best to properly represent this vehicle and ask that you view all pictures carefully as this is an "as-is" sale off of the pictures only
As you can see the overall condition of the car is pretty good. It appears very solid and has been garage kept for the at least the past 10-20 years and it shows. The top is damage/tear free and works properly. We have the boot for the top. The body appears surprisingly straight and solid. It appears to have had the some body seams, lower door corners, and inner fenders restored over the years. The sills appear solid and the car does not appear to have a lot of bondo on it. As you can see there were some modifications completed, including the aftermarket fuel cell in the trunk. THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE. We are not certain of the scope of the modifications so please view all pictures carefully. Based on a receipt it appears that the motor was rebuilt in 2001 and they spent about $3,800 on it. We can see aftermarket track bars and sway links attached to the 12 bolt rear end. It has Cragar style wheels on it. While this is the correct block I do see aftermarket headers, intake manifold, Carb etc
The car was originally Forest Green and appears to have been painted twice since
This is a prime candidate for a nice restoration project
The interior is nicer than I would have expected but still shows normal wear and tear
