Presented in the correct original two tone colors of Mallard Green over Boxwood Green, this 1971 Ford Ranger XLT is an absolute time capsule. Purchased new in '71 in Texas, this truck stayed there for most of it's life before being transferred to Michigan, where it lived the summer home life. Having been refinished in the original color scheme, this truck shows almost as new. All the panels are straight with good gaps and the bumpers and trim show a little patina. The bed is in great shape only showing a little surface rust where the floor meets the side panels. The interior is mostly original with the exception of the seat, which was just refinished using the original cloth, but adding green leather in place of the old vinyl
Mechanically, our Ranger runs like new. The 302 V8 was completely redone at 45,804 miles and the rest of the drive-line received a thorough servicing too. This truck was optioned with the 3 speed manual, or 3 on the tree style shifter, and works great. This combination works well for towing your boat down to the local fishing spot or just running into town, either way, this F100 is at home.
