Here we have a 1985 Jaguar XJS, equipped with the HE V12 and an automatic transmission. Production sequence number 120000, interestingly enough
The Good
- No observable noises or driving tendencies of concern
- Runs, drives, shifts, and stops smoothly
- All lights are functional
- Body is free of dents or dings
- Interior is well preserved
- All glass is clear and free of cracks or nicks
- Underbody is in good shape with just a couple minor rust spots
- Original wheels show well, minor scuffing up front
- Front chrome is in great shape
- 55,559 mile odometer reading believed to be accurate
- 262hp/290lbft, V12 pulls hard
The Bad
- Paint is faded
- Chipping on hood and passenger door
- Rear bumper chrome is faded
- Spot of rust on rear windshield passenger corner (see photo
Overall, this Jag is a respectable driver but is pretty tired from a cosmetic perspective. Would make for a fun driver as is, or a nice starting point for a light restoration. Feel free to reach out to Mike or Jake at 773-267-2684 with any further questions or photo requests
