Original Hurricane 134cid 4 Cylinder & 3 Speed Trans
Owned and used by the Almond Wisconsin Fire Department since new, “Little Smokey” was primarily used as a brush truck and general assistance vehicle. Since the Jeep FC150 is known for being unstoppable, this was the perfect all terrain vehicle the department could use. Maintained exclusively by the Villages top wrenches, this truck received any and all service when needed. The red exterior shown a great deal of patina and some rust in the usual areas. All the headlight bezels, trim, and emblems are in good condition and intact. The stark interior is very simple and functional. Newer leather seats have been added to make driving the Jeep a little more comfortable. The gauges are clear and fully functional as well
Power comes from the Hurricane 134cid inline 4 cylinder with 75HP & 114LBs of torque and backed by a 3 speed, sycromesh transmission and 2 speed transfer case. The Forward Control starts easily and idles smoothly. The truck runs nicely but wanders a little bit a speed, steering components could be a little tired but it gets you from point A to point B. This FC150 is the truck is ready to be put to work as is, or the perfect candidate for restoration. This Jeep has stood the test of time and looks, runs and drives just as it did back in the 60's! Don't miss your opportunity to get your hands on this rare Forward Control!! Call us to make an appointment for a showing today
