All Original “Deluxe” Interior

Garage kept by the first owner, this Toronado was kept in pristine condition. Over time the car was used less and less till it was finally parked and left in the garage. When the second owner acquired the car, he parked it in a barn on his property, hoping to restore the golden beast to it's former glory. Life got busy and the car was never touched, until we brought it back from Iowa and started to clean it up
This one of a kind Toronado was born with a Trumpet Gold exterior and later refinished in a similar Gold color. The exterior finish is glossy and does show some signs of fatigue in areas of the car but overall the paint is in nice condition and the car is rust free. All the exterior bright work appears to be original and in exceptional shape. This Iowa survivor was ordered with the deluxe interior package and is still all original and truly shows little sign of wear. Features include air conditioning, seat belts front & rear, strato bench seat with armrest, power trunk lid latch, front cornering lamps, & FM Radio. Also included are the original owners manuals including the protecto plate
The 385 horsepower 425 cubic inch Rocket V8 engine mated to a 3-Speed Turbo-Hydromatic Transmission pulls strong as the unique scrolling speedometer climbs up to highway speed and beyond. It runs, starts, and stops but a slight valve tick is noted and getting better as we make adjustments and freshen fluids. There are new brakes that are included as shown in the trunk photos and we have redone the gas tank and sending unit, as well as redone the rear exhaust section and installed a new battery. This car has sat for a while so inspections are recommended to any buyer interested
