We're currently selling this beautiful Boxster on behalf of the second owner, who has owned the car since 2013. The car has been used as a summer driver since new, and presents exceedingly well with only 10k miles. The car has been regularly serviced, and wears a fresh set of Pilot Sport tires. This car is spec'd out just as we'd have done it ourselves – Meteor Grey Metallic over black leather, with a 5-speed manual and 18” Boxster S wheels
Exterior
This car wears a clear bra on the front end, covering the front bumper and the lower portion of the hood, as well as on the side mirrors and at the rear of the rockers. As a result, this car has covered its 10k miles without accumulating any chips or scratches, even at the lowest, most vulnerable points. Meteor Grey Metallic (9Q) is a truly phenomenal color, and suits the car perfectly. In direct sunlight the car has a nice subtle sparkle to it. There are no spots of touch up paint on the car; paint presents extremely well throughout. There are no door dings, the body is completely straight. All lights and glass are clear and free of any cracks or scratching, wheels are in as-new condition, tires are brand new, and overall the car presents as extremely close to new. Convertible top is also in as-new condition, as this car is primarily driven with the top down
Interior
We really like the interior of these cars, they're simple, intuitive, and ergonomic. Powered seats are comfortable yet firm and supportive. There are no tears, scratches, scuffs, or damage of any sort. Interior still smells like new. Dash is mint, shifter knob and steering wheel present as new, and the handbrake shows one tiny fingernail scratch. Condition is consistent with the car's 10k miles, having been adult-owned and well-maintained. Air conditioning is ice cold, and all powered systems function as they should. Powered top goes down in just a few quick seconds, and this car is a real blast to drive with the top down. As the car is mid-engined, there is a trunk in both the front and rear. The cargo-carrying capacity is very impressive
Under the Hood / Underbody
The car looks quite good underneath, as one would expect from a modern, low-mileage Porsche. There are no leaks, scrapes, or damage. This car's mid-engined configuration translates to excellent road holding. Weight distribution is extremely close to a perfect 50/50 F/R, and that's a large part about what makes this car so special. There are very few new cars on the road today that offer such an engaging, connected driving experience. This car, while it feels like new in every respect, still provides the same involved, visceral, and rewarding driving experience that we've come to love from classic cars. The 2.7L M97/20 motor provides more-than-sufficient power (241hp, 0-60 in 6.1 seconds), and sounds great running through the gears. The car is quiet and restrained around town, but really comes alive once you get it moving. The car has been serviced regularly since new; we have receipts in-hand for oil changes every 2500 miles since new, in addition to a replacement of the battery and serpentine belt. There are absolutely no noises or tendencies of concern, this car is in excellent mechanical order and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner
Overall, this is an excellent example of the 987 Boxster. With it's great color combo, Boxster S wheels, low mileage, and adult-owned 2-owner history, this is surely a good one. Car will come with the certificate of authenticity, booklet and manuals, window sticker, two spare keys, and a handful of maintenance receipts.
