The performance difference between a naturally aspirated 944 and a Turbo is staggering. It's tough to get out of this 951 and jump into my base 944 without feeling a bit underwhelmed
Exterior
This particular 951 still wears its original Alpine White paint. Paint shows well with the exception of the overlays (stone guards), which are cracked and yellowing. The body is in nice shape, the only ding or dent to be found is at the front of the driver rocker, likely due to improper jack use. All rubber trim is intact and in good shape, including the sunroof trim. Both front and rear hatch struts hold strong. 16” phone dials look great on the car. Please see the photos, as the car is documented in detail
Interior
Bright red leather contrasts very well with the Alpine White exterior. Seats are in good shape, there's a scuff on the outside of the driver's seat but leather is tear-free throughout. Carbon inserts have been installed on the dash, around the gear lever, on the door panels, and around the seat adjustment buttons. Carpet is in great shape, with no tears, stains, or sun-bleaching. We do have the turbo-branded passenger floor mat, though it's pretty discolored. Powered sunroof and rear hatch unlock are both functional. Radio has been removed, and replaced with a blank face
Under the Car
The underbody is free of through corrosion, with nothing more than slight surface rust. The car starts right up, idles cool, pulls hard, brakes straight and consistently, and doesn't smoke or make any concerning noises. No leaks or evidence of old fluid strewn about the underside
Overall, this car is a great driver. 944 Turbos are amazingly well-balanced and absolutely unbeatable as a "driver's car" for under $10,000. Original warranty booklet will come with the car; maintenance documentation is limited, though there are no observable characteristics of concern with the car
