What We Know
A client of ours brought this special car into our showroom and asked us to help him out. The proceeds of the sale are going to help his fellow fireman who is suffering from a neurological illness. We quickly agreed to do everything we could to help. So the story on this car is pretty straightforward. It was purchased from Bill Jacobs Porsche and delivered on 11/13/1987 to Charles Wilhelmi. Shortly thereafter Charles sold the car to Mr. A and in the early 90's he conveyed it to his fellow fireman friend Mr. R. Mr. R owned the car from 1991 to roughly 2014 when it was sold to his dear friend, and fellow fireman, Mr. C. Mr. C is selling this car to help a dear friend and that's part of what makes this vehicle so special. The other special part is that somehow this car has only 18k Miles on it and is all original. In fact it has every single panel still in place since new as noted by the individual vin tags on each. The AutoCheck report is clean as we expected. Mr. C just put $4,250 into servicing the car in preparation to sell it(see list above- Invoices go with car). The car has the correct number motor and transmission and we even have both sets of option decals in the trunk. The books and tools are present, as is the original spare. The car is in its original Guards Red over Champagne leather interior. This is an absolutely stunning car that will make an excellent collector piece. It runs and drives beautifully and has cold AC to boot. I can personally promise you that you will not find a better preserved 928 s4 then this car here
The Exterior
This car truly speaks for itself. Take one lap around her and see the original paint over lazer straight sheet metal. Our paint gauge doesnt lie. This car is straight and true. We believe the drivers fender was painted and the hood was blended to match at some point however we cannot confirm that. If in fact it was then the work on it was of the highest quality as our gauge hardly picks of a thickness difference. We do want to have full disclosure. Aside from that this car is a true survivor in all original condition. Minor nicks and touch ups on the front and rear plastic bumpers. We decided to leave them be to show the originality of this car and since the rear cover has its vin tag still
