CONSIGNMENT SALE

VIN: GVVDJ2AC511850
Engine: 18V883AEL04404

Exterior:
- Please take a look at the video accompanying the listing, as the car is shown in detail.
- Paint gauge readings are consistent with one respray.
- Wheels are in excellent shape and are specific to the 1980 LE. No curb rash or oxidation. Tires are in nice shape but appear to be a bit older than would be ideal.
- Paint presents nicely. All blemishes are shown close up in the video. There are no rust bubbles on the body, and no dents or dings. Body is extremely straight. It's evident that this car has been garage kept and well taken care of. With these cars we often see rust (even if just superficial) along the bottom of the doors, this one shows nothing of the sort.
- Black convertible top is in nice shape. There's one very small stress tear right around where the passenger side meets the windshield corner, likely from stretching the top up, as it does require a little effort. The car will also come with a tonneau cover and front bra.
- Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack free.

Interior:
- Tan vinyl seats are in excellent shape. No scuffs, just a couple pencil-tip-sized punctures on the seat bottom on the driver's side.
- Modern JVC radio is functional, as are all gauges, lights, signals, and fan.
- Rubber MG-branded floormats will come with the car.
- Odometer reads 93,003 and is functional. We cannot be positive that mileage is accurate, but we don't see any reason to believe otherwise.

Under the Hood / Underbody:
- Engine is a correct 18V883AE-code 1800cc I4 and transmission is a 4spd with overdrive, both believed to be original to the car. Dual SU carburetors.
- Car runs and drives very, very well. Fires right up and sounds fantastic, idles cool and quiet, and accelerates without any hesitation or stuttering. The car tracks dead straight under both acceleration and braking. Suspension is nicely sorted, the car soaks up bumps and handles very well. A confidence-inspiring driver.
- Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it's documented in detail. Underbody looks quite good. No rust whatsoever. Frame and floors are rock solid.

Overall, this is a well-presented, ready-to-enjoy MGB. An excellent driver-level example. With any further questions, requests, or to discuss purchasing, please reach out to Jake at 773-267-2684.
