Featuring it's latest technology like infinitely variable valve timing and a separate throttle butterfly for each cylinder. With this setup the V10 has a broad spread of power that grows even more insistent as it rushes toward its 8,250-rpm redline. The SMG gearbox, when shifted manually or in automatic mode works wonderfully. Steering wheel mounted paddles allow you to blip through the gears that will win most stoplight races. BMW claims that zero to 60 mph takes just 4.5 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph
