Purchased new at The Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois, this '02 TT Coupe remained with the original owner in Wilmette, IL until November of 2018. He then sold it locally to the gentleman we purchased the car from. The car will come with a good bit of documentation, including the original manuals and build sticker, dealer service records through the years, and the temporary insurance provided when the car was first driven off the lot in 2002. As it sits now this is a fun-to-drive, “driver” level condition Quattro Coupe 6spd. While the cosmetics aren't quite perfect, this car would make for an excellent city commuter, winter daily, or sporty first car.

Exterior:
- There is bubbling on the body at the forward corner of the driver's door, lower portion of the driver's A-pillar, and a tiny bit along the top of the windscreen on the passenger's side. There's also a dent/scuff on the passenger rear quarter, at the forwardmost point of the flare. Paint condition is good not great. There are a bunch of chips, a couple light scratches. Condition is consistent with a well-taken-care-of 160k mile car.
- Momo GT2 wheels are in OK shape. Minor curb rash, couple little dings. Yokohama tires are a bit older than would be ideal, but aren't bald or dry.
- Glass is all clear and crack-free. Lights and signals are functional.
- Driver door close is a bit of a pain. It doesn't latch when you swing the door closed like you normally would; you have to gently push the door closed instead of swinging it, then a final nudge to get it to lock in flush with the body. Passenger door is just as it should be, panel fitment is excellent all around, no evidence of prior accident damage or anything like that.

Interior:
- Interior is a definite highlight of this car. Nicer than the exterior, and pretty impressive considering the mileage. Seats are comfortable and supportive, no punctures or burst seams. Rear seats are a bit tired, a few scrapes but no punctures. Rear seats fold down to open up a lot of cargo space. Very Porsche 944-like with the small car and big rear cargo area. Original grey carpet is in good shape, with just minor signs of age. No fraying or tears. A set of black floormats will come with the car as well. R134a air conditioning is functional, radio is functional, all gauges and interior lights are functional. Headliner is clean and tight. Dash top is excellent. There are two cup holders in the center console area by the handbrake.

Mechanical / Underbody:
- Please take a look through the underbody photos, as the car is documented in detail. This car looks pretty good underneath, especially considering it has been in Illinois since new. Structurally very sound. Floors are in great shape. Surface rust on some exhaust and suspension components, as to be expected.
- The car runs and drives very well. Just as it should. These cars really are awesome drivers for the price point. The car starts right up first turn, idles quiet and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly, has good clutch feel, and a comfortable ride. No shakes, rattles, pulling under acceleration/braking, wandering at speed, etc. A confidence-inspiring driver for sure. No on-road tendencies of concern.
