Exterior:
- Please take a look at the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. All blemishes are shown close-up, though there aren't many. Blemishes include a couple chips on the lower front end, a scratch towards the rear of the driver's rocker panel, a ding on the driver door, and a missing plastic piece by the passenger's head rest.
- Paint is excellent throughout. Paint gauge readings are consistent throughout the car; no evidence of any prior repairs.
- Glass is all clear and crack-free. Lights and signals are all functional inside and out.
- Wheels are in nice shape. Light road wear consistent with 27k miles of use. Michelin Pilot Sport tires are in good shape, though the DOT number indicates they're nearly ten years old. Regardless, no dryness, significant wear, or road noise.
- Panel fitment excellent throughout. Doors/trunk/hood open and close nice and smooth.
- Black convertible top has small scuffs on either side but functions as it should. See photos. Clear plastic is in good shape.

Interior:
- Again, please defer to the photos. Black leather with red stitching looks great. Driver's outer bolster shows some slight aging, but no punctures or significant scuffs/scratches. Dash top is excellent, with no shrinking or damage. Black carpet looks good throughout, though the original Maserati floormats are greying a little bit. Gauges and dash lights are all functional, and the gauge faces are nice and clear. Radio is functional, air conditioning compressor kicks on but does not blow cold, heat/fan are functional. Power top and power windows are functional. Display screen is fully functional. Analog dash clock is functional.

Mechanical / Underbody:
- Please take a look through the underbody photos, as the car is documented in detail. Underbody looks quite good. Little dabs of yellow factory paint are still present on all the suspension components. No through rust, just minor surface rust scattered about. Forward jack points show a couple wrinkles from improper placement.
- The car is a blast to drive. Seriously quick, and the sound is fantastic. The car first right up, idles steady, stays cool, pulls HARD through the gears, and big Brembo brakes reel it in nicely. The car tracks straight under acceleration and braking, and has no suspension rattles or tendencies of concern. Drives like a 27k-mile example should; everything feels nice and tight. The paddle shift is fun to play with, though these early-2000s gearboxes aren't quite as smooth/quick around town as the paddle shifters of today. But what the trans lacks, the engine makes up for. The jointly-developed Ferrari-Maserati engine is a naturally aspirated, dual overhead cam, 32v V8 producing 385hp and 333lbft, and it sure sweetens the top-down motoring experience.
- This car has been routinely dealer serviced since the car moved to Illinois in 2006. The car will come with over $12k of service records since 2007, which include the replacement of the convertible top hydraulic lines, blue key replacement, refinish/repair wheels, cooling system check-ups and flushes, replace 02 sensor, replace drive belts due to age, and multiple fluid changes and tire changes.
