We purchased this beautiful C3 from a gentleman in the Chicago suburbs who had owned the car since 1997. He purchased the car a few years after it had undergone a color change from green on green to metallic blue on black, enjoyed it as a weekend driver for twenty years, then his use of it tapered off. Upon purchasing the car we had the brakes serviced (front calipers replaced), detailed the car inside and out, and have begun to add mileage. As it sits now, this is a nice, well-kept, numbers-matching, driver-level C3.

Exterior:
Please defer to the photos and video, as the car is covered in detail. Blemishes are all shown close-up. Originally Fathom Green, the car was repainted LeMans Blue in the early 90s. The car has been responsibly-kept since and the paint has survived quite well. No flaking or peeling like we so often see on these cars, no stress cracks on the nose, but there are some signs of age to be aware of. There is a small crack along the lower edge of the driver's front wheel arch, a handful of chips scattered about the lower corners of the car, and a few spots of visible age-related paint checking/spiderwebbing, primarily concentrated around the driver's door handle. The polished finish on the sidepipes shows a good bit of pitting and peeling as well. Glass is all clear and crack-free, windows are clear rather than tinted, chrome bumpers are free of oxidation or damage. Hubcaps are in excellent shape, no curb rash, oxidation, or wrinkles, but the BFG Radial TA tires are due for replacement. No dry rot, cracking, or excessive wear, but older than they should be. T-tops are of course removable, and the top carrying bags will come with the car as well. Pop-up headlights are functional, light lenses including fogs are all in excellent shape, not spiderwebbed or tired-looking. Weatherstripping is in nice shape throughout, not dry or crumbling.

Interior:
Again, please defer to the photos and video. The most significant thing to be aware of is a burst seam on the driver's seat bottom. Black vinyl buckets, bolsters are in nice shape. Carpeting looks pretty good throughout, some minor age, not much for sun fade or discoloring. Dash top is free of any damage or significant wear, just some minor aging visible along the console. Gauges are all nice and clear, not fogged or scratched-up. Five-digit odometer reads 77,622 miles; exact actual mileage is unknown. The car has been both painted and had the interior gone-through, so it's hard to know with any real degree of certainty. Lights and signals are functional, dash lights are good, radio does not work, fan is good, heat is good, and this car is not equipped with air conditioning. The fuel gauge wanders and is not accurate.

Underbody/Under the Hood:
Please take a look at the underbody photos, as the car is documented in detail. Original engine and transmission, 300hp 350ci V8 and Hydramatic, and the number on the block does match the VIN. 4BBL Quadrajet carburetor on there now. The car runs really well. It fires right up first turn, sounds fantastic thanks to the headers and sidepipes, idles nice and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly and on-time, doesn't clunk into or out of gear at parking lot speeds, stays cool, tracks straight down the road, and brakes straight and effectively.
The car looks pretty good underneath, no through corrosion or anything close to it. No underbody damage aside from a through scrape on the underside of the spare well.
