This is a true 2 owner car. The most recent owner purchased the vehicle in the early 1990's and has kept extensive records and documentation on any and all work done to the vehicle. We have the original build sheet and manuals from new.
This LeSabre was highly optioned from new with AC, Power windows and top and exterior trim packages. The car is extremely solid and we have done our best to point out any blemishes in our video. Please be sure to watch!
The car is mechanically very sound other than the usual oil leak and trans drip while sitting. It has a new master cylinder and brakes nice and straight with ease. We notice a slight hesitation when pushing the pedal to the floor. It has a new carburetor which might benefit from some simple tune up adjusting. We have the original Carb to tgo with the car. All power features including the top and all windows work great. Power steering is quiet and smooth. The car drives out very nicely. It would benefit from some new front tires in the future.
The body is very solid and telling of its low mileage. We think the paint would benefit from a buff job but we have elected to leave it alone. It has newer filler panels that are not cracked or broken as is common. The panel fitment is good and we see no indications of previous repair. We do know that while replacing the old GM filler panels they elected to refinish both quarter panels and they look great.
All in all this is a fantastic example and an absolute delight to drive.
