This is a stunning 51 Victoria that came out of Arizona in 2006. It has been with the current owner/collector since and it looks just as a dry Arizona car should look. PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR VIDEO AS IT SHOWS THE GREATEST DETAIL AND IS LOADED WITH IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU. This car came out of a private collection and is one of the nicest and most well positioned 1951 Victorias we have seen. It was converted to 12 volt which means you can be confident that this car is driveable.
The exterior is stunning. The paint work looks to be about 20 years old and still shows brilliantly. The chrome and trim is all in tact and in great shape. Normal wear on brightwork and chrome can be visible upon close inspection but this car is very very nice. There are a couple small roof dents that appear to be from someone setting something on the roof at some point. They are hard to notice but we see them and want to make you aware. They can be PDR'd without body work needed if you so wish. The panel fitment is great and the car shows nice and true. We were informed that the car has all original metals on it and we have no reason to doubt that. Glass is clean and complete and all rubber trims are still soft and functioning. Some usual paint blemishes are present but require a very keen eye. Overall this car is a stunner and looks amazing top to bottom.
The interior is complete and in excellent shape. The vinyl is nice and white and the door panels and all hardware are nice and complete.
Under the hood sits the Flathead V8 which we believe to be original to the car. It is mated to a 3 Speed Manual transmission with functional Overdrive. As noted this car has been professional converted over to 12 volts which is a very nice feature. It runs really well and fires right up quickly and takes a nice smooth idle. It has that raspy crack that all flatheads do! Mechanically the car is very sound and as you can see in the video it runs and drives out nicely. It shifts smoothly and has a good clutch pedal.
We always encourage you to service the car yourself before putting it on the road for yourself. The brakes drag slightly from sitting and would benefit from a brake service.
