We purchased this 1976 Thunderbird from its home state of North Dakota, where it was sold new at Ned Nastrom Ford. This car is in excellent condition all the way around and truly shows that is an accurate 32k Mile car.. Please watch our video for an in depth view showing all blemishes and explaining the car in detail. We have put some miles on the car and it is in excellent condition and road ready.

Exterior:

The car shows as a 32k Mile car. The paint and finish is excellent with minor blemishes throughout. Most scratches occurred while parked in its garage from what the owner told us, we have no reason to believe otherwise. The trim and chrome is excellent. All light lenses are extra clear and clean. The glass is perfect and so is the Odense vinyl top. The optional vinyl trim body inlays show some scarring which is normal but noted. We do note with our paint gauge that there was a respray on the upper portion of the passenger side. We are assuming it was for scratch or dent repair and the color match is perfect and consistent. We can see some light dimples on the right rear quarter panel but it takes a keen eye to see. The lower panels appear to be all original paint which was pleasing to see.

Interior:

As nice as you will find and very consistent with mileage. All features appear to work properly, from the AC to signals, and dome lights etc… No interior odor whatsoever and the carpets and trim all show near perfectly. The optioned leather seats are fantastic as well. 6 way power drivers seat functions properly and the power windows, locks and trunk release all function perfectly. The dash looks new as do the gauges and switches. Truly a survivor interior and very very nice.

Engine:

The pictures and video should tell you everything you need to know. All original engine paint, decals, and stamps are all present throughout. It runs like a 32k Mile engine should, quick to start up, idles smooth and runs out like it should. Power disc front brakes, power steering, AC, cruise control . It alls here. The only thing we see missing is the short paper duct, that are known to disintegrate over time, connecting the air horn to the fender well.

Undercar:

Extra clean and solid and free from leaks as far as we can see. Again, consistent with the mileage. Rock solid, free from invasive rust and all original.

Driving:

Newer tires with 90% tread life remaining. Car tracks nice and straight and stops straight and smooth as well. Shifting is smooth and timely. The car honestly drives out beautifully.
