This is a very sharp older restoration 1955 Bel Air 2 Door Post. We purchased the car from original owners son. Based on the information and pictures that we have we believe it was restored to its current status sometime in the early 80's. It has withstood the test of time very well and is in incredible shape for the age of the project. This is absolutely a confident driver. We just had it at a local show this past weekend and enjoyed every moment of it.

Exterior:

The older restoration still looks fantastic. The body is nice and straight and free of rust or major blemishes. It has a few scratches and light dents here and there but overall this car shows tall. We note some windhsield sratches from old wiper blade as well as some dried gaskets here and there. We detect some body filler around lower wheel edges which is no surprise. The body works looks good and the paint finish over them is great. You may not notice this while owning the car but we caught it with our paint gage and want to be transparent.

Interior:

It is impressive how well this custom interior has aged. It is still tasteful and fully functional. All switches and gauges appear to work properly. We do note that the blower motor doesnt come on when the switch is activated. All door trims, panels and hardware are all in excellent condition. Also, you will find the programable custom horn computer completely in tact and hillariously functional.

Underhood:

The car is powered by an era-correct 327Ci V8 (casting 3782870) and is paired to a bulletproof saginaw 4 speed, short throw, floor shifter. The v8 runs great and we recently rebuilt holley 4 bbl. It has electric choke and idles and nice and smooth. This truly is a blast to drive. The car keeps good temeperature on hot summer days and always fires up without having to pump pedal. The brakes work great and stop the car nice and straight with confidence.

Underbody:

The underside is super solid and consistent throughout. All body mount locations are solid and original. The pans are solid as are the rockers and sub panels.
