Donned the 'Dooce-'n-a-quarter' the 1972 Buick Electra was one of the finest road cruising sedans on the market. This Sandalwood colored '72 Buick is extra special as our time capsule is a Limited and there are not very many of these around. Furthermore ours is the nicest one we have seen. The car needs to be viewed in person to be truly appreciate

The panels are straight and true and free of rust. All trim is in tact and in excellent condition. The vinyl top is nearly flawless and appears to have solid metal beneath it. We only detected on area of prior repair on the right rear 1/4 panel and lower portion of the right rear door (see paint gauge picture). The repair looks excellent and the color match is perfect. Based on the interior panel the repair does not appear to be rust related. We believed the exterior may have been repainted at some point because it looks nicer than factory work from this era. We know it is in the original color as you can see the jambs all match. Regardless, the paintwork is to the highest standard and is quite impressive. The original interior, while completely in tact, is near perfect. The carpets are clean, green, and original. The dash, gauges, and all controls are functioning and show the perfect hint of patina. The car is optioned with the 60/40 front split seat with a center armrest and power. The seat material looks excellent and only has a couple minor blemishes. The trim panels are clean and straight and show nicely
Under the hood sits the 7.5L 455C.I. big block with a 4 BBL bolted atop that puts out an advertised NET 250hp. The engine and bay all show to be original and prove to be well maintained. This beauty fires right up and runs nice and smooth. Shifts are crisp and quiet as the TH-400 trans was built to last
