Overview
This exceptionally well-maintained 1982 Corvette, featuring the original 350 V8 engine and automatic transmission, has just under 53,000 miles. We have complete documentation verifying the mileage. Acquired from a long-time customer known for meticulous maintenance of his classic cars, this Corvette is largely original with a few minor mechanical upgrades over the years. The car has been repainted once in its original black color.

Exterior
The exterior of this Corvette shows beautifully, with a deep shine to the black paint. There are minor scratches and the usual paint spidering from the fiberglass below, which can be seen in the pictures and video. Despite these minor blemishes, the car presents very well. The wheels are in excellent condition and are fitted with brand new tires. The glass is clean and clear throughout, and the T-tops are new, complete with custom T-top storage bags. The panel fitment is excellent, with doors and hood aligning perfectly and closing smoothly. The headlights and taillights are clear and functional, and new style kick panels enhance the entrance to the cockpit.

Interior
The interior features a striking red lipstick leather that shows only mild wear despite its over 40 years of use. There are a couple of wear marks on the seats, visible in the photos. A dash pad/cover is present, properly affixed, so we did not disturb it to check the condition of the dash underneath. The sun visors are firm, and new weather stripping ensures a quiet, dry ride. The radio has been upgraded to a Custom Autosound Radio with Bluetooth connectivity under the dash. The instrument cluster is clean, and all gauges, including the speedometer, odometer, and trip meter, function properly. The original carpets are intact, with only one small stain on the driver's floor covered by a floor mat. We include both the original red floor mats, a new set of custom black mats, and rubber mats.

Engine and Mechanics
Under the hood is the original 350 CrossFire V8 engine in excellent, well-maintained condition. A new aluminum radiator assists with cooling, and the air filters are clean and new. The wiring is tidy, as expected. While the entire AC system looks good, it will need recharging. The fan motors and heater function properly, and the power steering works quietly and effectively. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly in all gears and engages quickly. Mechanically, this car meets all expectations of a meticulously maintained 53,000-mile vehicle.

Underside
The underside of the car is clean and solid, indicating its indoor storage over the years. The birdcages are dry and solid, and the frame is in excellent condition, with no signs of repairs. The car is structurally sound and solid.

Driving Experience
Driving this Corvette is an absolute pleasure. It delivers fantastic power and maintains a quiet, smoke-free idle. There are no vibrations or unwanted road noises, and the car tracks perfectly straight. The brakes offer excellent confidence, bringing the car down from speed smoothly and straight. Cornering is a joy, with a quiet and smooth transition from straight line to aggressive cornering.
